THE WORLD OF MASAMUNE SHIROW EXHIBITION GHOST IN THE SHELL AND THE PATH OF CREATIVITY – ACRYLIC STAND B

Masamune Shirow, creator of the wildly popular Ghost in the Shell, made his major debut with the sci-fi manga Appleseed in 1985 and began serializing Ghost in the Shell in 1989.

His unique approach to incorporating cutting-edge technology, which was not yet widely available at the time, has captivated many with his worldview that seems to foresee the modern information society.

The meticulous illustrations, plots built with vast amounts of information, and the author’s words, which extend even to the margins, add energy to the work and stimulate the reader’s imagination.

Shirow’s worldview, woven with philosophical exploration, has influenced many creators, leading to his continued creations across a variety of genres.

Please enjoy this stand from the first large-scale exhibition of Masamune Shirow’s work.
